**Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite in Charlotte, NC.**

Our utilities client is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master:

  • Define, deploy, and optimize Agile based processes
  • Ensure the Team is fully functional and productive, shielding them from external interfaces
  • Remove barriers and impediments that are preventing the team from completing work
  • Capture metrics to monitor Team and project health (Burn-Down Chart, velocity, etc.)
  • Mentor Team members and promote Agile thinking, ensure adherence to the process
  • Maintain the backlog and physical Scrum (task) board in partnership with the Team and Product Owner
  • Ensure artifact quality
  • Capture and track impediments, risks and dependencies until resolution
  • Update the team's improvement backlog with commitments from the Retrospective
  • Complete and share the teams Commitment report and End of Sprint Report based on the Demo and Product Owner acceptance

Requirements of the Scrum Master:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master
  • At least 1-4 years of experience with project concepts and practices
  • Must have a Scrum Master certification (CSM)
