Description

The Department requires consulting services on an “As-and-When-Requested
Basis.” The scope of work under this contract is to provide Consulting Engineering
services for any of the Province’s ferry terminal sites located throughout
Newfoundland and Labrador. The scope may include but is not limited to:
1. Site investigation and structural analysis of wharf components.
2. Interpretation of existing reports, field measurements and any laboratory analysis.
3. Identification of potential risks to public safety.
4. Supervision of a diver during underwater inspections.
5. Preparation and submission of reports with recommendations, proposed design
solutions, specifications, drawings.
6. Tender support services.
7. Contract administration services.
8. Preparation of construction estimates and schedules.
