Description

This procedure defines the requirements, responsibilities, and processes for providing the
necessary oversight of engineering services provided by agencies outside of Canadian Nuclear
Laboratories (CNL) for the life of a contract.
The oversight process begins after the decision to procure the services from an external
Engineering Agency has been made. It ends when all of the deliverables detailed in the Task
Orders/Scope of Work (SOW) have been accepted by CNL. If the work is being quoted on by
both internal and external resources, oversight must be considered when preparing the SOW
for external quotation.
